Free special edition of the map of Hannover for the PDA
CeBIT 2005 - Pdassi, the leading software portal for PDAs and Smartphones in Germany, will be presenting the latest trends in handheld software at the palmOne booth, located in Halle 26 row F36.
Start of the English online shop
Pdassi announces the inauguration of its new English online shop at www.pdassi.com for users of Palm OS PDAs and other mobile devices. For the first time Palm OS users in Europe can browse, download and purchase software at Pdassi in English.
Like the French version www.pdassi.com/fr, the Dutch version www.pdassi.nl, and the Italian version www.pdassi.it, the new English site will be supervised by a professional English speaking team and will offer English speaking users all of Pdassi’s software distribution services including partnershops and first class customer service.
Langenscheidt Dictionary on the PDA
The Berlin-based software company Envi.con, in cooperation with the Munich language publisher Langenscheidt, will present its two-way dictionary for handhelds and Smartphones. With this new software high-quaility language reference works are now available at all times on the handheld, doing away with the need to have heavy books on hand.
Free special edition of a map of Hannover
Pdassi will distribute free special editions of a map of Hannover. The map extends from the city center to the exposition grounds and should make orientation much easier for anyone unfamiliar with the city. The program is a fully functional version of the ’PDA City Map Service’, including the new feature that allows you to send sections of the map as an image file to other handheld devices via infrared, Bluetooth, MMS, or email.
‘PDA City Map Service’ brings over 250 maps of German cities from the well-known internet site www.stadtplandienst.de to the handheld.
Pdassi helps European handheld users access the full range of software available for handheld devices. Handheld software customers in Europe use Pdassi not only as an online store where they can browse, test, and buy software in their native language but also as a valuable information source about the latest trends in handheld technology.
