Natara Comet for Treo

Natara Comet for Treo smartphones is just the thing your Palm OS powered smartphone needs. It replaces the device's weak proprietary telephone logger with a super-charged muscle car to evaluate and manage incoming and outgoing calls.

Your Treo smartphone rings and you know someone is on the other end trying to reach you. But who is it? Natara Comet looks immediately after the first ring in the device's internal address book for a match. If the program finds one, then it displays it before you can even lift your phone to see who it is with the name and number are on screen. If the caller isn't yet entered into the Treo's directory, then that can be taken care of quickly and easily, since a new contact is created lickety-split.

Natara Comet isn't just a great help when your phone rings, but also after that, since it logs all calls, even those that can't be accepted for whatever reason. So there's no problem supervising calls and calling back as the case may be - even directly from the program itself. Natara Comet also automatically logs the length of a call and tells you if a call was made by roaming, since that can often be quite costly.

Also a great feature: Even during a call Natara Comet can open a virtual notepad for jotting down important features of a conversation. Of course, later there's no problem loading these notes to completely understand and remember details of what was said.

In contrast to ISDN call monitors, which every Desktop PC knows, Natara Comet also logs outgoing calls. This makes sense for putting together an overview of minutes which have been used and developing a cost analysis of your phone bill.

The data generated in the program on your Smartphone doesn't necessarily need to be checked and considered on your device either- if you want to, the files can be exported as CSV or XML files which can be transfered directly to your desktop PC. For this purpose there's Natara Comet Desktop Edition, a special program which helps view, organise and evaluate the data created by yours calls.
